It’s not about sex - they have porn, they have as much fucking porn as they could possibly ask for

they have billboards and ads and primetime tv shows and hollywood movies and websites free videos magazines they have porn channels porn movies with sexy images of women

they have girls on websites who are paid to webcam with them

there are girls who post sexy pics of themselves online for them

none of this is enough, none of this is, at the bottom of it all, what they want

creepshots specifically says this isn’t enough - they don’t want pics of girls knowingly posing (i.e. giving consent)

they want to violate, they want to rape, they want to own every woman walking down the fucking street

they want your teenager daughter, they want your mom, they want you

when you don’t know it, when you can’t say no, when you’re on the bus, when you’re walking down the street, when you’re at the beach

they get off on your violation, they want more proof that women exist for them and them alone

it’s sexy because it’s embarrassing, humiliating; they say it themselves

this is rape culture in its purest form

because women saying yes on screen, women saying yes to their faces, saying yes on their computers, on their phones is not what they want

that’s not “hot” enough

what’s hot is violating your consent, what’s hot is demeaning you, what’s hot is owning a piece of you against your will

and they won’t stop until we are all pornography

I firmly believe that anybody who uses or accesses Creepshots is a rape apologist and probably a rapist.

That anybody who takes photographs on the street of unwilling perceived women (to submit to Creepshots or not) is a rape apologist and probably a rapist.

Anybody who tries to defend Creepshots for whatever reason is a rape apologist and probably a rapist.

Anybody who sees Creepshots as anything other than an invasive, predatory, disgusting violation of our right to exist in public is a rape apologist and probably a rapist.

These people have given me zero indication that they could possibly be any other way and I have no obligation or duty to not see them as a threat to my safety and the safety of others around them.

walking home today, i saw two very typically masculine men pass each other on the footpath. neither of them moved out of the way when passing (even though there was plenty of room to do so) and so their shoulders & swinging arms smashed into each other. they both cursed, grabbed their arms in pain and scowled at each other.

my, the way dudes who view masculinity as important part of their identity relate to themselves in terms of personal space is gross. its such a representative manifestation of the masculine ideology, this act of refusing to move out of the way for others, to take up the maximum space possible with ones body, to sit on the bus with thighs spread wide, impeaching the space and not acknowledging the comfort of others. 

so these two dudes, each expecting the other to move out of the way for them, crashing into each other was like this perfect microcosm of the effects of masculinity at large. masculinity is fucbad you guys, throw it in the trash. thank.

I was playing Animal Crossing while watching Hannibal and I thought I was very clever by saying that I was playing Hannibal Crossing but turns out it’s already a popular crossover on Tumblr. Of course it is.

I honestly saw people who didn’t read it as cis-het. But, like, as cis-shit. 

So, maybe that’s why?

the idea of a “Hannibal fandom” makes me a little uneasy, truthfully.

I mean, they’re fans of the show, not the character.

Well, some are fans of the character I guess. 

Mostly for me because I keep forgetting but shows I’m currently watching:
